Kantrida Pools are primarily a sports facility, but they also offer a variety of amenities for recreation, relaxation, and entertainment. Fitness and wellness services are available to both athletes and the general public, and the complex also houses a diving club. Visitors can unwind at one of two on-site catering facilities, both offering stunning views of the sea, the islands of Krk, Cres, and Lošinj, as well as Učka, Opatija, and Lovran. A scenic view is also available from the public square atop the multi-level parking garage with nearly 150 parking spaces. Below Kantrida Pools, on the seaside, lies the public city beach Ploče, which was renovated in mid-June 2011.
